Depending on where your cavitation plate sits in relation to the bottom of your hull could help quite a bit. I don't know the exact numbers but I believe you can raise the motor around 1/4 inch for every inch of setback you have also. Depending on what you want to spend you can get an electric Jack Plate that will allow you to raise and lower the engine on the Fly for getting in skinny water.

I am not familiar with that hull if it has a pad like a bass boat it can help a lot. On boats with out a pad about the only thing a jackplate helps is running in skinny water.
Depending on prop and set up. With the 115 it could help your hole shot and help getting up on pad higher. Put a 6 inch on a boat very similar to yours. Made a vast improvement in top end speed. But I did have to play with props to get most out of it. So consider cost of prop when considering adding jack plate. Also have to make sure steering cable is long enough to accept the plate without putting it in a bind.
I have a Jackplate on an 18.5 Stratos dual console with 150hp Johnson.
