Marabou originally came from the rump of Marabou Stark. Now days it comes from turkey rump feathers. Chickabou is from hen chicken rumps and is smaller and finer than turkey Marabou.

True for sure! The Chickabou I have is on hide with some laced Soft Hackle which I just love. See Pic below of this Rooster Soft Laced Hackle With Chickabou.Quote:

Well that is a question that is not a one answer thing. This being soft hackle it comes like this kind of Rooster, but there are other kinds of soft hackle like hens, but they also sell some Soft Hackle loose in packs, this would be Grizzly soft hackle. How about another picture, lol!Quote:

Here is one of their Soft Hackle Marabou Patch. I don't know if they are all as large as the one I have which is like 12"x11", so pretty large.
