Fished county lake from 12-3 yesterday. Surface temp was 53 and visibility was about two foot. Caught 10 all hugging the bottom in 17-20 fow. Live minnow BG was the preference. A few dinks but most were in the 12”-15” length. All in all great day with the wind howling like it was.

Thanks for the report! I will be down there this weekend from Indiana and plan to hit Madison County on Sat and might drive up to Dekalb County Lake on Sunday or Monday.
The lake manager told me they stocked threadfin shad in the lake last year. Last trip was one of the first where I saw large bait balls in the lake. It should really help the Crappie growth rates.
