So being new to tying, I've gotten some cheap thread, some cheap feathers. I have basic tools. I have a basic vise.
So I've been putting my jigs together. They look generally, politely, ok.
The thread is a fuzzy kind of thread. I suppose it's supposed to mimic Chenille in micro form.
The thread is making the use of the whip finishing tool, just difficult. More than once I've just done hand whip finishing. And that's where I believe I've noticed that the thread doesn't want to slide up into the cinched knot.
Here is some I tied today. The feathers are combination of the turkey barbules stinger with the cheap feathers.
The bobbin holds the fuzzy thread.
