PowerDrive V2 w/ iPilot issue

Today while fishing my trolling motor decided it wanted to quit working. I was getting ready to move and went to stow the trolling motor and when I got it most of the way in, it beeped at me 3 times (I think), and I didn’t think anything of it. When I got to my next spot, I put my trolling motor down and the issues started. The prop will run and move the boat, but no steering whatsoever. I do not have a foot pedal for it to try and see if that will work. From what research I’ve done so far it’s sounding like it may be the main circuit board? Anyone else have this issue, have any advice on things to check, etc? Thanks in advance.

If you want to look for yourself might pull side cover that houses the boards and check all the connections.

Thanks cray, if it’s the board I’m pretty sure I can do it myself. I’ll give them a call Monday and see what they’ve got to say.

It’s pretty straight forward once you remove the side plate that holds everything.

I had it happen to me last year. I pulled it back up and unplugged it, I know the power goes off when you raise the motor so not sure unplugging it did anything. At the same time I changed the batteries in the remote and when I put the motor back in it ran perfect again and not had a problem since.
