My wife and I have purchased trolling motors for our feel free 11.5 lures. Unsure on what battery choice to make to power the motors that's not too heavy and not break the bank. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. Have a blessed day and great weekend to all.

It depends on how far you want to go.
Also if you are trolling steady all day.
I’ve had surprising good luck from smaller car batteries from Walmart. 50-70$ range. My 12 ft 2 person will fish all day ( start and stop crappie fishing)

Car batteries will not hold up long to deep discharges and recharges. You really need a deep cycle marine battery .... that it what they are made for.
I used a U-1 SLA (sealed Lead Acid) or Gel Cell battery made for power wheelchairs to run the trolling motor on my old pond hopper boat. It was fairly small and much lighter compared to a regular deep cycle marine battery. Since it is designed for periods of long use with a wheelchair, it holds a charge for a good while. For no heavier than your boat will be, it should hold up nicely. I also carried a back up battery in my truck, so when I went in for lunch and refresh my drinks, I'd also swap out trolling motor batteries. I never ran the battery down all the way, though I didn't want to get caught way down the lake with a low battery if the wind picked up. I also powered my depthfinder off the same battery with no issues.
