Tchefuncte River(Little Advice)

Next week I will try to go crappie fishing here. So for my first time here would you suggest I put in at the Menetre Boat launch and fish north of 12 on the Bogue Falaya and Abita River or fish south of 12 launching from Fairview-Riverside State Park? Will be in a pedal kayak. Thank you.

I'd feesh north of I12. Plenty of spots and you'll miss a lot of boat traffic.

Thank you. Should I fish the Bogue Falaya or the Abita? Not asking for honey holes, just general bodies of water. Thank you for your knowledge jig rig.

I like the Abita better but the launch is into the bogue HTH
