Pole limits

I have a large book that lists all the lakes that are north of Shelbyville. It also lists site regulations. I could not find any that allow more than 2 poles. What do you suppose the reasoning is behind that? Not a huge deal to me but it just got me to thinking about it. Seems like this state is always in a different country than the rest of them. I woud assume the DNR has decided that for the health of the fisheries two pole limit is needed.

Lots of people not many lakes makes for stronger regulations

Went to fish with my son-in-law in Minnesota and they have a one pole per angler limit.
