Today was not a total bust . First lake was a waste never got bit . Second lake was 10' above normal . Still found a few . Swung 7 nice ones with the 13' Phantom . Biggest 2.05 and 1.87 . Did catch several dinks . They hit same purple/chartreuse umbrella tube on a 1/8 oz Timmy Tom insert jig head .

Those are some nice uns! Are you still able to see the fish and they just not bite or are they just so scattered in high water can’t locate em?
Yeah, I really like fishing the river but have not had much of a chance to for the last year. Just when the flow gets low enough it rains again. Nice catch.
I fished a small oxbow lake for a couple hours this afternoon and didn't get a single bite. My fish finder showed me to be over schools of fish a few different times, but I couldn't get any to strike. I fished with your purple/chartruesse for quite a while before trying a couple others. But alas.... nothing. I'm really starting to get agitated. I've been skunked several trips in a row now.
