I'm trying to decide if the cost of increased screen resolution is worth the cost?
Its all garmin stuff
Going on a livescope eventually
400x800- i got one ordered for 600$ 9" screen
600x1024- $800 use. 1100$ new. 9" screen
800x 1200 - $1400 new. 10" screen
I realize its all subjective and depends also on what you can afford (or get away with [emoji79])

I'm not sure, lol. I have LS. Had the 93ad plus with LS only. Resolution to me was ok. Glare on screen was not, some have this issue others do not.
Moved up to the Ultra series which has better resolution but not Garmin' s best but it does have a different type of screen. Still just using LS. Image is clearer but for me glare on screen is gone.
Similar issue for me. Bought a Garmin 1022 xsv that had a factory problem. While negotiating a return asked about upgrading (was blown away by the capability of the LS) so upgraded to their best 10” with the 8610xsv and so glad I did. Glass screen with unbelievable pixel count and clarity. I am older so the ability to see the screen better is important. I did put a visor on it as the Texas sun is unrelenting. It reminds me of an old IT adage. Buy the biggest monitor you can and spend the rest on the computer (smile).Quote:
