He's done other things that's helped the fishermen of this state.
It's very seldom publicized.
I'm not a big fan but I have noticed.
Heard that yesterday.
McConnell is not one of my favorite politicians but he has finally gotten into the fight against Asian carp invaders. Judge Executive Wade White from Lyon County deserves a lifetime achievement award for his years of work on this.
Now, let's see if other politicians are going to carve out a bunch of this for their pet projects.
This is great news!! I agree MR Dux, Wade White is a huge advocate for the lakes and rivers and the fight against the carp.
Gotta give credit where due. Our Senator McConnell is involved in this fight along with Judge Executive Wade White and all of us sportsmen and women. Without the Federal funding we’d likely be dead in the water. Kudos to all.
I would like to toss in state rep Chris Freeland's name as well, who represents Marshall, Lyon, and McCracken counties.
He spoke at the KY Lake Chamber of Commerce meeting on Dec. 18th and spent most of his time talking about Asian Carp and all that he has been doing to help in the battle. I was more than pleased to hear how he had taken the time to become knowledgeable about Asian Carp and how he plans to continue to do what he can to help the lakes area.
