New Rods Arrived

As I stated last week, I bought two new to me rods from another member. Both 6’6” UL with President 6925’s for the winder. A Browning airstream htsc20 and a Leland trout slayer rainbow edition. I’m truly a kid at Christmas. The Leland may even get some salt water play for some sea trout and mangrove snapper. Both are in excellent condition with no discoloration on the cork. I also get to try the airwave guides on the Leland. Now for line, and it might take two or three tries to satisfy my ocd for this. My local river fish are going to get a visit soon. I’ll post some pics with the fish they catch soon.

Yeah, I saw you jump on those rod and reels minutes after they were posted. It's always fun to order things and get that Christmas morning feeling when they are delivered.
I'm sure you'll find the right line and the right application for those "new to you" rod and reels. We'll look forward to hearing of your many adventures with them.

Enjoy your new toys! I think you will like the Leyland TSS. Makes the little guys fun to fish, and a bruiser will open your eyes. LOL. Nice!
