Truman Report. Anyon else having any luck?
I fished the Tebow arm this weekend with limited luck. Saturday I fished for 7+ hours and caught a limit of nice crappie using black and chartreuse jigs tipped with a crappie nibble, but the bit was extremely slow. No pattern could be found. Seems like the fish would only bite when they wanted. I tried dipping trees, fishing bluffs, and trolling flats with two rods. Trolling was the only producer. 18-22 feet of water, 12-18 foot down. My Garmin kept showing me fish stacked on timber and brush, but they just wouldn't bite. Returned to the same spot yesterday armed with 8 rigging rods to get more hooks in the water but the bite was even slower. Only ended up with 13 between two of us. Again on black and chartreuse with a nibble. Anyone having any luck on Truman? I would think winter fishing should be turning on right about now....
