First of the season

In my first hole on the first drop I caught this one almost instantly. Good start to the season. After that it became a little bit of a struggle to get more. Ended up catching 2 more Crappie, 1 small Pickerel and 2 small Yellow Perch. Kind of a slow morning for me. Nice to feel the tug on my line again however.Attachment 362407

Nice catch. I'm still waiting for ice here in Pa. With the warm weather coming this week,I don't know when that will happen.

Nice one! Next trip will be even better, I'm sure.

Won’t get consistent ice until mid January as usual in this part of NW Pennsylvania. Everybody worries about not having ice before Christmas but if you keep an ice journal, you’ll see that it’s very rare that we do. I don’t expect to be on the ice before mid January around here. Should have three to four inches by then. I won’t go out on anything less. You guys enjoy your ice time up north. I’m happy for you. Post more pics please.
