Do you know 'why' they are closing it off? They do that up here, mainly due to ice & snow conditions on the ramps, but I've never heard it happening down your way?

Okay, will try to help ole Ketchen out here. He mentioned a couple weeks ago, that because of the duck hunters, they close off that area, for them to hunt. That way no one gets hurt by gun fire. Seems logical to me, but dang, all those fishies, that can't get fed by ole Ketchen, for a while. Better days are ahead.

Dress like a duck hunter, go to a spot or blind, take a shot gun with ya, make sure you got a hunting license and duck stamp, be sure to have a duck call around your neck. Slide a rod next to the shot gun your carrying, and stick some baits and a stringer in your pocket and go duck hunting!!! :Rofl Just don’t get checked! rotfl
