Old stuff

Not sure which board this should be posted in, but here a a couple of pics that I thought everyone could appreciate Attachment 361741Attachment 361742
I have never seen a rod and reel this old before. The rod was made out of some sort of square steel, and the reel was a Pflueger that had TRUMP on it.

And the trolling motor had to have been one of the first ones that MINN KOTA had ever made.

Nice stuff. I’ve got a pretty good collection of reels and lures but no rods.

Neat find! Right up the alley for the “Pickers”. Mike and Frank would love it.

Man you guys make me feel old I had a trolling motor just like that bought new in the late 50's

Those rods amazed me. I had never seen a rod made out of square steel before. It’s looked exactly like the material they use to make the keys for a key-way. And apparently back then, Old Man Trump had a stake in Pflueger.
