I like size #3 and #4's because I tie 1/16 and 1/8th size jigs. I use Size 2's (most common size) for my 1/32 jig heads. It really depends on what size jig you tie most. I avoid rayon chenille because it looks cheap. Nylon is okay but I really prefer New Age chenille or Antron. Every thing associated with jig tying is personal preference IMHO.
If you buy #2 it will work fine on most sizes, but you do have to double wrap if tying a 1/8 Oz jig. I mostly sell #3, but some #2 and even a few #4. Now my Crystal is size #10 and #12 mostly, but I can use it on most any size head and even use it on my 1/32 oz Roadrunners. The more info you can get the better off you will be!
