Bank fishing spot

We will be visiting friend and Disney World during Christmas from Texas.

If I take couple days bank fishing for crappie surrounding Orlando area, what would be your recommendation for fishing spot?

I use lure fishing for crappie in Texas.

Lake Ivanhoe, lake underhill, clermont chain has some access. Lots of small lakes and ponds hold good fish. I like throwing rooster tails and beetle spins, and a jig and float would do well also. Enjoy your stay.

I will be living just nearby Turkey Lake.
I see many lakes to the west of Turkey lake.
Is there good bank access to those lakes?
Rest of family will be visiting Disney, I would like to be close to Disney side and get away from Orlando city traffic.

I get used to fish crappie under relatively muddy water. I heard that Florida water is much clearer and only produce black crappie. I assume that braid line alone won’t work and at least need some FC leader.

If you're fishing in Texas, I'd recommend Lake Fork for bass or the Guadalupe River for trout — both great spots. But honestly, I usually just use tools like this to find good locations: Catch More with Fishbox: Fishing Maps, Forecasts & Weather
