Drank rum and binge-watched Live PD episodes the night before. Slept late. Didn't go.

If I had gone, I would have missed (1) a Dentist appointment, (2) a signature-required delivery of collectible Barbie dolls my wife sniped off ebay for Christmas gifts, and (3) a lot of dang leaf-raking and blowing and carting into the woods. Number 2 was the killer. She must be obeyed for full fishing privileges.

Happy Thanksgiving Day Week to all! One of the things I am thankful for is the extent that crappie anglers will go to help out someone new to crappie fishing. They will tell you how to do everything, and when to do it. They are a little tight-lipped on exactly WHERE to do it. LOL

Those jigs are very attractive. The She Who Must Be Obeyed here thought so, too, and has agreed to try tying some as soon as the material delivers. Small, nimble fingers will likely be very useful if the intended user can keep his lips pressed together as well as fish do when I am on the water.

They all "must be obeyed"! I don't clean bathrooms and I can't cook. I must behave. Being a dedicated fisherman is hard on a man. :biggrin
