Yeah I have been fortunate enough to see deer swimming a couple of times. Latest was last winter and he crossed the lake near me and I just observed and enjoyed. He never knew I was there in my kayak. That is a pretty jig.

They swim quickly. Unfortunately they are slower than some of the alligators they have down south
