If ...............
you was windmilling crappie and destroying the serenity of calm foggy waters early one morning and a guy was spider rigging not far away and not getting a single bite .
Would you try to help him ketch fish or just keep on ketchn and ignore his dilemma is the question ?
I tried my best to help him and not once but twice he ignored me even though I seen him jump a few times when I slapped slabs back in the water . I know he could hear me as you could hear a pin drop out there and only looked up at me 1 or 2 times and never when I was speaking to him ?
So is it me or is it him or is it pride or stubbornness or what ? I watched him for quite a while and he never even touched a rod ,he just kept his eyes on them like a hawk for the most part . When I was on number 27 he put up his tackle and headed north on the lake and I never saw him again .
And it wasn't like there was anyone there but us ?
I guess maybe it was the fool on the hill taking selfies and doing video and still photos of baits and such that slowed up our interaction possibly ?
I promise this , if I was in his shoes I would have trolled over and asked about 14 to 1,000 questions for sure if the guy on foot was trying to help me ketch some and slinging fish .:banghead
Remember this well yawl i will try to help you ketch fish if i can …
and KABOOM is the word btw :highfive

Possibly he was taking his pet minnows for a swim and didn't want to be bothered. :dono

Stubbornness on his part for sure. Maybe he just kept saying to himself "it will get better" and it never did. Darn it...I'm gonna do it my way......lol.
Anyway KABOOM as usual for you my friend!!! :highfive

Maybe he’s hard of hearing, or had his hearing aids out because of how noisy they are flying down the lake?
I would’ve been over asking 1000 questions.
He could also be hardheaded!

Sounds like his pride got in the way. I am like everyone else, I would have eased over and listened to any advice you were willing to give. I consider myself a good fisherman but I also know that there is more that I don't know compared to what I do know.

The older I get, the more I realize I can learn something new everyday if I pay attention.

I would have hollered over and destroyed the serenity.. "Dude, what color you using?"!!!

Sounds like a "one method Pete" to me. Worst affliction known to fishermen the world wide.
