I went dock shooting yesterday and this morning and caught 16, about half were 12 inches long and about half were around 10 inches, but when I cleaned them this evening I noticed that almost every bigger one had egg sacks and even some of the smaller ones did, I know it's normal to see them over into the late summer, but didn't know if it was normal to see them in November Attachment 359012Attachment 359014

Yep they starting to get ready for spring. Takes awhile for them to fully develope.
I have caught them year round with eggs

black crappie spawn really early in the new year , so 2 or 3 months on those and they should be about right for February is my thought
It's been said the the large crappie spawn first so that is a sign of it being true.
