Guilty as charged, more often than I would like to admit. Thanks for posting this.

Very true indeed. It's exactly the same thing when someone can live their entire life without ever truly seeing the beauty of the little things all around them that God has given us. I often think: One day we will all be shocked to know just how little we understand our real purpose for being here and really how very simple it all was meant to be. I am convicted more of this all the time by just this type of growing awareness I seem to be discovering even more in my advanced years. Thanks for sharing this with the rest of us.
