Another what a day
Went to the lake today with my new 7’ and 6’ TFO panfish rods. Started out with a 1/32 jig head and was able to fish it some, but due to high winds eventually went to a 1/16. Caught about a dozen brim, no great big ones but some nice ones.

The new 6’ rod is a two piece and I really like it. It cast well and is just right around docks. I was able to skip the 1/32 panfish magnet head a decent distance and the sensitivity is awesome.

Here is a pic of the rod.

I think the angler is pretty awesome also.
This guy came to play when I was throwing the 7’ rod and it worked fine on him.

Caught several crappie as well.

All in all, except for the wind, it was a great day. All fish were released today. I used 2 and 4 pound line and used trout magnet heads and bodies as well as road runner heads and Berkeley gulp minnows and maggots.

A good trip. I could stand some of that, haven’t shot a good dock in a while. Some real nice fish.

Fantastic..... glad you found some great rods at a good price too.
I use only St. Croix Panfish rods, but I want to try the TFO rods too.
Let's go fishing.

I have been wanting to try a St Croix panfish rod, lots of guys use them and I have heard nothing bad about them. I may get one next year.

My favorite is the 6' panfish rod, but some may like the shorter or longer rods.
I don't need a more sensitive rod than the St Croix (if there is one).

Very good report, I love my UL rods.
