UL blank
Recommendation for a 5 1/2 to 6 ft ultra light rod blank with a fast tip but good backbone .
I want to be able to hoist a 1 lb or bigger crappie on the boat.
4 lb line
1/32 oz weight
Mostly vertical jigging
Thanks

I have one I got at mudhole, one of their house blanks that was on sale, that I haven’t started yet. 6’ and rated as ul I believe but I consider it light fast. For the money I couldn’t pass it up, and I already had guides. I don’t plan on using it with less than a 1/32, judging by the way it feels in hand. Look them up,they come in white and black, maybe gray too.

I'll have to look at get back to you on the numbers but Skeet hit it with an MHX rod.
I own and use several in the UL line-up. Mine are longer but they do make a shorter version.

If you can't find a 5'6" or 6' you can always cut down a 6'6" or 7' to get what you want. I never personally liked the St. Croix blanks myself, they all just kind of felt like a noodle to me. Now in saying that, they do make a good product and that's a decent price for one.
