Silver or Gold , which one is best ?
I often hear this color when the water is clear and this color when the water is dirty .
I hear you have to use gold when the waters are in this condition .
Then I hear oh no no no you must use silver when the waters are in that condition .
And then I get all confused , amateur anglers are often misled by the internet.:banghead
I for one am quite easily misled and might try about anything suggested as the "right" color .
So in this case I opted for BOTH silver and gold and tried them out to see what might be best in the current conditions of the waters on that particular lake .
Now onto the results .
The GOLD did ketch well but it also made me hook up with a nice channel cat and that's a NO NO with me …..
So I went with the SILVER next and found it was similar in the results and ketched well as well .
But in the end I am of the opinion that MASK color has very little play in the water conditions and is just more about MASK play if you get my drift :Rofl
KABOOM is the word yawl :highfive
p.s. I am running low on masks this year so we are running a go fund me page to get me a few more before the run is over …..fyi :crazy:
