I caught one jigging a 5" Flutter Spoon for Stripers so they'll try to eat anything they think they an get in their mouth. I use the 7/8 and 1 oz. Berry's Spoons for Perch so those should work as well.
Wow! Those are beautiful spoons! I use both light (1/4 oz) and heavy (1 oz), but the light ones in deep water take too long to get deep and often grab the line. I've been using a 1 oz Berry for a month with great success on perch, both jumbos and very small ones.
Thanks guys. Considering I've caught one reeling in a piece of chicken liver while catfishing to check my bait I shouldn't be surprised they'll eat about anything!
Next time I mark some perch I'll drop one down.
