I don't longline troll, either .... but I'd say any of them would work. Twisters & Thumpers have plenty of action, Hot Rods & Deuces have "some" tail action, and the Shad just looks like a Shad/minnow. How would you go wrong with any of them ?? And if you wanted some "flash" to go along with the colors & action ... put them on a Slab Spin. :biggrin
I’ve used the booty shaker or what ever it’s called. It works great and the curly tails

Yeah, it used to be called "Booty Shaker" .... but, because there's a commercial company with that name for one of their baits, Rodney asked around for a new name. My suggestion of Booty Thumper ended up being the one chosen. And you're so right ... they are awesome !!
I've got a trip planned for MS this next week. I ordered some booty shakers just for that trip. We long lined there last year with similar plastic body on 1/16 oz road runner jigs. I"ll post up when we return.
All I do is long line / jig timber, stumps, brush. Use mini rods and booty’s. I basically never get over a crawl with the trolling motor and for me it’s usually one pole I have one pole that has the monkeytruese mini and it never changes color because of the success I have with that color. I always have a bucket of minners along but don’t every crappie fisherman have those ? I used this method at tville Saturday had great day lots of fish and took home 15 of which 12 fish were between 12-13 in long. Very good fish.
