Ouachita river 10-5

The little Watt's ( 5 and 10watt) were out of school today and I didn't have any plans so off to the river for a scout trip we go.

Had to stop for ice and get a couple of what 5watt calls "tiny burgers" aka sausage biscuits.

Got to our spot round 7 and fished till little after 10 when I started seeing lightning in the distance. Ain't playing that game again...

Bite was pretty so, fish seemed to want something with orange in it. Fishin hanging near the bottom in 4 to 5 ft water.

Didn't catch many but that's ok. River has been good to me this summer. I've caught my share then some.
