Water temp was 79 degrees surface temp. Shot docks in 10 to 15 FOW. First fish of the day was a pretty good 12 inch fish. The other 4 fish were short. Found shad schools in all the creeks. All fish were way up under the docks in the shade. Attachment 356350

That’s where I’ve been all day! In the shade of my roof under the ac since about 10 it got hot in a hurry!
It was over cast here so it wasnt so bad. I was off the water by 11. Got tired of dodging the wake boats

Went again with the same outcome. With the exception of one everything was a short fish. Used BG colors Lights out and Monkey Milk. Once the sun got up the bite turned off. Had a Skip Jack Shad jump into the splashwell while we were idling away from the ramp. It was a lot better than having to work
