Jig Colors for Lake Fork?

Hey y'all - I'm gonna be taking a trip to visit family that live near Lake Fork and no way I'm gonna be that close and not wet a hook!!

Hoping I could get some advice on what colors work good out there so I can tie up a few jigs for me and my dad to use while we're there.

I'd start with three color schemes: natural, white/chart and black/chart. Good luck to you and your dad.

Sweet - those all work well where I usually fish, too. Thanks for the info!

cinnamon and blue is the traditional color combination there . lots of the big timers will tell you that and I have seen it myself in the winter . this time of year I would opt for natural and small though if it were me . stop in at Thermocline Lures by the big bridge and tell them I sent ya and ask Todd what you should be dropping when you visit . he will know for sure :highfive

Never fished that lake, but have heard Junebug is good there?

Minnow is the best color I have used there.

A few pics of our catch. Fished from sunrise to lunch. I was using white/chartreuse, my dad was using black/chartreuse. Found them all up close to submerged timber 15-20 feet down in 20-25 FOW. My biggest was 2.29 lbs and my dad's biggest was just under that. It was a good day.
