8-10 ft down over 15-25 ft down. Very light bite, feel a tick, hit it.

Completely agree with the light bite. I was fishing and grinding all weekend on the 21 mile marker. I was fishing too shallow(9-13ft in my dock) but didn’t have a choice since my boat is getting fixed.
I managed to get about 16 keepers in 2 days. The bit me was crazy light st times and if you didn’t set the hook immediately it was no fish. If I caught every crappie that bit I would have had 50. 😩
