new yarn

hobby lobby has replaced the cloud 9 eyelash yarn with a larger one. cloud 9 was 1/4 inch and the new fur of the moment yarn is 1/2 inch. they have some nice light colors that are solid and 3 rabbit strip like colors with light tips. the core thread is more of a braid and the eyelash hairs are thicker making it easy to wrap on a hook . hope to have some time to labor behind the vise soon! rich mc

would you mind posting a pic of what you are talking about? I am not familiar with Cloud 9 Eyelash yarn. I'll try googling it.

not able to post a pic of it it WAS made by yarn bee before they discontinued it back in july. i did post a thread about it going into clearance. if you were in the 1st swap i may have used it . it is similar to chenille but instead of being fibers all around the core thread ,it is only off1/8 of the core. that is why it is the catagory of eyelash yarn. i have plenty of it and was thinking of doing a material swap. i did a mop material swap on fly tying forum last year and tyers submitted mop knubs by color and size. rich

back on 7/5 on the first jig swap is a photo of all the jigs page 14 post133. the tail of the sexy shad jig is furled cloud 9yarn , also the black,yellow jig has black cloud 9 for the collar.
