AKA The Atchfalaya spillway.
Conditions were perfect. Water dropped a foot or two. dropping fast. Left my spot high and dry.
Played around the area, nothing but small trout and perch. What to do?
Crossed da canal and da bite was on.
All feesh caught tight line black n green tube. Did da slip cork for a few.
Nice box of fishes, something for everyone...

I talked to the owner of old river boat landing this week; although he’s not open for business due to repair work needed from high water, he said you can put a boat in at the landing. That was early in the week, and he said it was still a little muddy, but I’d think it would have dried out pretty good by now.
I know some fish were caught there this week...but don’t know any details!!!
