I'd say one light being better than another is pretty subjective. :dono
Yes, they do come in different lengths & numbers of LED's .... so that would equate to different "brightness" ratings.
I have the Berkley Premium light and it works just fine. They make 2-3 different models.
I bought a 5000 lumen green led light to try. It was out about 45 minutes. I did see some small fish darting by it. I got ready to leave and lifted it out of the water and was immediately engulfed in 100,000 mosquitos. Got the motor running real quick and got out of there.
I buy my at Amazon small lights but very bright easy on the battery. I would go with two lights. That way if having someone fish with you place one front of boat the other back of the boat.
