GREEN 7/31

Me and the wife went on a short trip today....I went to fish and she went to sleep...Fished about 4.5 hours today...first hour was a waste of time...Which was the same place we started at Monday...Only had 3 keepers and 2 dinks there. I guess that is why there was not as many boats there as Monday.....Made a little run to ole faithful....and ended up with 40 keepers and the only bad thing was had about double that in dinks. All catch and release again today..The best thing about it was there was only 1 other boat there the whole time.....I have always heard everybody has a twin. Pappy, you got a twin out there or at least from 20 foot away.....Don't know if we can handle 2 of you...….l:Rofl

Hey, where did you put in? I unloaded at Holmes Bend but went on down toward the dam from where everybody was fishing. I planned to spend the morning slow-trolling minnows and jigs tipped with minnows over an area where there are several brushpiles, and then troll crankbaits a while in the afternoon, but I got on the first brush pile and caught a limit of really nice fish (10.5 to 12+ inches). I was wanting a mess of fresh fish, so I was satisfied with my results and quit after about 3 hrs. Fish were 18 ft deep in 25 FOW.

I put in at holmes bend and went that way too....but my fish came from less than 20 fow....

I don't know you could cover twice the amount of water .
