Saturday Morning Slam

Took my mohter-in-law's boyfriend out Saturday morning to do some longlining. Started in Torrence. Marked a lot of fish, but i think most had been feeding on the mats of Mayflies that were on the surface. Picked at a few small 8-9" crappies, but sent them back. Moved to BigA to try and find bigger fish. Which did happen, albeit in the form of a couple bass and catfish. Then the perch parade started. We ran through about 2 dozen minnows in an hour pulling in mostly small perch. Sent him back home with the bass, cat, and a few bigger perch. Got off the water before the Moombas got out.

Sounds like the small fish liked your offering plus fish for the table. Good day on the water and report.
