A good day with some guys from Indiana

I took out two guys from Indiana yesterday in search of giant bluegill. They caught six that measured 11" or better. My high-dollar water-resistant bench scale crapped out after a minor boat spill involving a large flopping bluegill early on, so we didn't get any weights, but we had several that would've gone between twenty and twenty-four ounces, a big coppernose that likely would've gone twenty-eight ounces, and a northern bluegill female that measured 11.5" and which I'm pretty confident would've weighed two pounds:

Pretty fish, great size also.

Thanks for the love, guys! D10, we do manage a few ponds in Arkansas. We electrofished a 60-acre lake about 40 miles from Memphis a couple weeks ago. We also manage a couple ponds in the northeastern part of the state.

Some very nice fish, I bet they were happy too.

Are any of those ponds trophy bluegill ponds? I wouldn’t mind picking your brain sometime on the topic.
