Please excuse the thread collars. Just a habit I got in to tying copious amounts of steelhead jigs. Just enough chenille to hold the "Sauce." I tried to vary the size of the flash to see if it mattered.

They should work good. I love gray jigs.
I think you will do fine with those.
Very nice!

They’re going to do well, I’m confident. While you’re fooling with the gray things, try a streak or red in the tail. I have used about 5 or 6 strands of kip tail, micro chenille, a stub of yarn, you get the idea. They have done well for me. Some smaller ones helps build you skill level also. Keep after it, lookin good.
Those will work fine, nice!
Gray jigs work fantastic, and your ties look yummy.

Gr8 lookin tyes. For a smaller neck you might try down sizing the thread - maybe use some red thread at the neck too.. How about spinning a wet hackle or a flank feather at the neck???
I like using fluorescent Krystalflash and fluorescent red thread in my tails.
Agree with LedHed especially the Red thread part, but you can also hide the thread when finishing regular chenille. I am not sure what your body is so maybe that is why you need the thread neck type? Anyway that really doesn't matter much, but the Red will I believe because it't part is showing the gills.
