What??? No rain???
Had the day off... And wasn't going to rain! The forecast called for light winds but hot by mid afternoon. Sparty babysitting so headed for Morrison solo...launched by 730am. Shoreline had some sort of bright green bloom going and couldn't find fish around the docks. Long line trolled and picked up 33 crappie and a decent Gill. All were in 20' water on sliders with a chartreuse paddle and a spritz of slab sauce. Most were 8-10 inches with a few 11s.. first skier was out at 820!!! Had to wait in line to get out at noon..maybe rainy days aren't so bad!!!Attachment 347923Attachment 347924Attachment 347925

Good job!!

Yup, I'm on grampy duty until Saturday while my daughter and SIL hike Glacier National Park. You're catching crappie and I'm changing diapers and dancing to Minni Mouse music. I'll bet you're jealous!
Good to know the fish are still where we left them last fall and appear to be getting a little bigger.

Never understood why more lakes don't have a no wake restriction, before say 10 or 11 and after 5 or 6. Diamond lake has this rule

The earliest I have seen a skier is @ 7:25am
Duncan Lake, on a. Saturday.
Have even seen them there in a damn wet suit, the water was so cold.
