Not till they have to . Has to be somewhere for the water and not flood down stream . I bet it won't be long but your guess good as mine .

The Mississippi is supposed to start dropping about 2 ft a day after July 6th. It will probably be then or after before we see many gates open up much.

Is there a ramp at nimrod where you can lanch with the water this high

I was by there today. Saw someone launching by the restrooms at Carter Cove campground. Can't get to Anderson Branch or carden point ramps.
