Thread neck question
How do you seel the threads on your thread neck jigs? I've been using Sally Hansen's and it works for a while but eventually the tops threads will get water logged and slip. Is there something better for this or do I need to tie off my wraps more often as I go?
I've more than got my mileage out of this one and it's still catching fish. Just wonder if there's a way to improve on this?Attachment 346518

I use Softex and it's killer! It's the same stuff I use in my Glow jigs and a few others I have done.
Have used it for probably 10 years.

I use UV glue if durability is a issue.

I have been a big fan of the UV resin products from Loon Outdoors. Environmentally friendly , low odor, works great!!!

By the time mine get fuzzy or have issues they’ve caught so many that it’s not an issue, unless I don’t have another like it and it’s the hot jig. I use sally thinned about 50/50 and give it time so soak in and maybe apply more if it needs. Use it generously. Skips glue and uv stuff also makes a good tough body that has a good profile.
