My long time friend Clay And I have been talking about fishing together For a long time. Clay lives by Palestine and knows the lake as well as anyone could. We put in around 7:30 this morning and were throwing fish back by noon as we had 50 on ice.
It was my first time to fish Palestine but it won’t be my last. Lots of fish and _lenty of big fish.
Anyone wanting a mess of fish should give Clay A call.

yep yep , my fist time there same thing , told us they weren't biting and we just hammered the you know what out of the crappie.
its a fine fishery for sure and I think it may still have that channel cat get out of here regulation on it .
its loaded up with kitty fish too .
