Had to go to Monticello to find some clear water. Windy & rainy all morning but the fish did not mind. We caught 53 small blues & about 12 perch on cut herring in 40 to 60'. Got a lot of bites but could not hook up. Probally, all small fish.
All caught anchored & fishing on the bottom down toward the dam.

Did you look for any perch in mid lake area. I may take a ride down there Tuesday or Wednesday next week on my days off! I know Steve Comalander has not been on the perch at Monticello and he's fishing at Murry for stripers! Wish we could get a good report on perch before that long ride! Thanks for you report and glad you found some biters! Had to be fun :twocents
