Thinking about driving up to try my luck night fishing on high rock. I've never been to this lake. Thought i would just try sitting under one of the bridges. I've heard the bridges are low on high rock with some being un passable if you have a t-top on your boat. Looking for a little info on which bridges have the highest clearance to the water and any other tips would be appreciated.
We have a boat with a windshield and a lot of the time, three coves are not passable for us. We found good fishing in other areas and I'm sure some of the locals will share some good tips as well.

I really wish I could Mac. I work a rotating shift and will be working 12 hour nights Friday thru Monday that weekend. Will try to go on the next outing though. Just now getting set up for night fishing. This will be my first trip out. Should probably have a test run out before going with a group. Going to run a small green light up in the air about 15'. Do you think that will be high enough to stay out of the bugs? Curious to know how you guys keep the bugs at bay this time of year.
Here is a hotlink to the some of the bridge heights:SaveHighRockLake.org Home Page There is one other bridge that isn't listed on this site that can be accessed from the Wildlife launch area on highway #8. It is Goodman Lake Rd. bridge the other two are, the one at The Tamarac Marina which is on Bringle Ferry Rd and the Linwood Southmont bridge. All three of these have good clearances.
In other words, the Highway #8 bridge basically divides the fishing areas if your boat will not get under the bridge. The west part has the above info.
The east side can be accessed from the Buddle Creek boat launch and you can get to the Holloway Church Rd.bridge from there.
I hope this isn't too confusing...
