Thanks for the post. Man, the shot of that "Crappie Tree" got me excited. Sometimes they bite sometimes they don't.

Seems like it should have been a one stop limit out .
I didn't realize what it looked like until i was leaving.

I see a jig, ever try just a #4 hook with a minnow and splitshot? Anything there would bite on that.

yep set the baits at the height of your brushpile, get snagged, np, just tie on a new hook. I fished brush so much there and snagged so much. I had to buy 100 hooks a month for $20 or so. I fish cheap on brush. Your also not scared setting them deep and letting the boat bring them into the brush. Then you need to figure out how to get the crappie through the branches lol.

My wife really enjoys cleaning and organizing my boat gear. Loves taking reels apart , oiling, labeling, sharpening, greasing bearings, tire pressure, cleaning fish, .
