Helix 7 SI Questions

I have a Helix 7 SI on my boat. My parents have a pontoon that we usually don't use for fishing besides catfish. I rigging it up for night fishing and would like to make it where I can switch my Helix back and fourth from boat to boat. I do not need the DI or SI on the pontoon only sonar and GPS. Can I put a regular sonar transducer on the pontoon and it work properly?

Yes sir ... HELIX 7 SI can use any of the core series HB xducers capable of 83/200kHz ...

Connecting a 2d xducer to a SI unit would require changing the Connected Transducer selection under the Sonar tab to "HB 83/200" to shut off the imaging transmitters ...
