Tuff day on da T Funky

Made 4th street launch bout 8am.
Conditions were perfect.
Water up from last week. Clearing a bit. I've got a long launch rope. No wet feets for me.

Decision decision. Decided to swim da 3tail for a few. Had two in da box when a couple of fellows idled their boat right over my top. Bit my lip. They ain't gonna ruin my day. I got more spots.

Ended up tight line black n green tube. For the rest of da feesh. Lots of smallies. I guess high water does dat. A few little green trout too.

Yep kept a few nice blue's for Momma.

High water fishing at its best. Kinda unbelievable to be honest. Nice work Mr M.

Wife n I went out for Maiden Voyage w/25. She ran good. Went 4 miles up the canal and played with depth finder a bit. That canal is a diff animal. Momma was happy. Attachment 344280

Well how fast was she? I never ran more than about 22 with a Yamaha 25 on a 1448. It was a heavy boat and well, I'm a biggun so.......

Funny you say that, 21.9 was top speed. Smaller boat but commercial grade. Guess it’s good enough.
