My 1st crappie.com gathering

...but it won't be my last! My wife and I got up to Toledo Bend around 2:00 friday afternoon, we didn't know far enough ahead of time we were going to be able to make it to make reservations at San Miguel so we stayed a our buddy's camp. We fished for a few hours fri then we went and meet the group over at Pepe's for some grub. It was great to finally meet some of y'all in person. We were all sorry Mr. Bruce had to leave early, I was really looking forward to meeting you but we all know family first and we all praying for you and your family.
We also really want to thank Pico Lures, Bob's Jig's, & MidSouth Tackle we really loaded up on lots of great baits (PPG talked my wife into getting all the pretty sparkly ones and she caught fish with them sat!! Thanks Mr. Gene). Thanks Mo-slab and Shadow for cooking and getting everything together and everybody else for bringing sides, everything was great! We're looking forward to going to pull cranks with Skippa-Chippa at Larto soon and we're making plans for Darbonne in the fall. Hope to see y'all all again soon!
Here's a few fishing picks at our buddy Marshall's camp with his grandson helping us take 'em out of the livewell (he's came with us also and he's joining as soon as he can figure how, he's not very tech savy! He'll be at Darbonne with us)

Great meeting you and Amanda Mike! Really glad y'all were able to make it. Everyone keeps giving me credit along with Marty for this gathering, all I did was help him cook some fries. This was all Marty's organising and I think he did a fantastic job! And Marty thanks for letting me stay with you and Buddy!

Marty you did do a great getting all this together and we look forward to doing it again next year, hopefully the weather will cooperate better, the wind this year was a killer. We were just fortunate to have some brushpiles fairly protected from the wind that allowed us to catch some fish.
You're going to have to load up Buddy and get Shadow to come up with you and come fish Black Lake this winter when the bite is on
