Luck comes and goes, Green second day...
Sunday started windy dodging the bass tournament boats putting in.
Today started partly cloudy and the fish were not cooperating, we did catch a nice cat, bass, and white bass but the desired species was rare.
Like yesterday they were deeper than I expected and the wind and size of Crappies ran us off earlier than we planned.
10 good keepers.
15 feet deep over 25 feet of water.
Jigs tipped with minnows. Spider rigging.
Saw a mess on the livescope, just hard to get to bite.
I can’t understand why I buy so many colors of jigs and have such a hard time changing from what worked yesterday, even when the conditions are different!
Got home and while backing up the boat in driveway I saw smoke out of a trailer bearing! I guess that’s where all my luck was, so glad it made it back to Georgetown!
